Fantastic place to visit so much to see. Plenty of interactive things for children to get involved with. Also has small cafe for a rest and drink before you explore more! Highly recommended.
We love this place so much! The adventures that you can have walking back in time through the street in "olden days" Britain or exploring the animals of the forest. We love the pottery exhibit with the hundreds of cow milk jugs and lavish historical designs. It is quiet, well managed and the spitfire exhibit will be great when it's done!We especially like the ever changing lower floor exhibits that bring different things to life.It is great to see the Staffordshire board on view with interactive videos and historical action to see.
Very interesting collection. The labelling could have been more accessible. I would have liked more information on the manufacturing process and differences between bone China and hard paste, soft paste etc I had to look this up
Large museum with a variety of exhibits. Exhibit displaying the incredible Staffordshire hoard! Staff very knowledgable. Cafe is reasonably priced and modern/spacious. Nice gift shop too. Highly recommended visiting.
A lovely museum to wonder around. Plenty of displays spanning the ages from prehistoric times to the industrial age. Lots of interactive and engaging things to do and learn. Fantastic museum staff to guide you. A lovely cafe/restaurant at very reasonable prices with great staff. There's a fabulous modern theatre and a gift shop. The only thing that goes against it is there's no car park attached to the museum. However, there are public car parks within a couple of minutes walk of the museum. These are pay and display.
