Pleasant surroundings and good food menu. Well stocked bar and ample facilities make this a good family venue for a day/night out.
Drinks are relatively well priced, plenty of places to sit with booths and normal chairs. The staff are friendly and it is well run with clean toilets and up to date decor.My wife and I had a carvery when it was first installed and it was excellent. Really well cooked and the type of variety you would expect from and carvery menu. Meat and vegetables were great. The only think stopping a five star is the noise from the TV's in the bar seating area and they often had children who were noisy when we went in on a Tuesday night between 18:15 and 19:30 every week.Pool is on offer, with a poker table too I saw being used by a group.A good place to eat and drink.
Nice Carvery. Shame they charge extra for pigs in blankets, okay they will give you two and an extra Yorkshire for only 1. But one P in B, should be part of the meal.Sweats / puds are expensive, who knows why, otherwise a reasonable experience. Freindly staff and good food. Clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere.
Had a most enjoyable experience here for my mums birthday treat. When we arrived we were seated almost immediately, the hostess was friendly and polite. We chose not to dine off the set menu but to have a carvery. There was a good choice of vegetables and the meat was soft and tender and all was piping hot too!
Having visited here quite frequent as of late I can say there carvery is delicious and very good value for money I would recommend and will be returning. Not only that but they serve slush puppys have a wacky warehouse sort of thing for kids and friendly staff. The toilets were clean no complaints here.
