After ordering a pair of shoes for 45 i visited the store when i was informed that they had arrived in store. When going to pay i was surprised when the lady told me that i needed to pay 55 when questioning the difference in price she went away for a few minutes, came back and said that she could do them for 50. Still 5 more than i was originally told. Not having enough cash i informed staff that i would be back the following morning to pick them up. I was then told again that i would need to pay 55 as it was a 'one time offer' the staff member seemed to take great pleasure in being as awkward as possible, very unhelpful and smug. I have used your shop numerous times in the past but will definitely not be returning. **In response to your reply i did say that they were 45 online, they are, yes you can find them for 65 but who wants to pay more i did arrange to collect the next day as the bank was closed and i was certainly not told that they would be 55 again, i told the staff member i was dealing with that i would be back, as i was. Baring in mind they were originally ordered in for me at 45. The price wasnt the main issue. The attitude of staff is the reason i wont be returning.
I visited your store one day last week. The previous day, we had visited Clarks to get my daughters feet measured and I have been to Clarks before so I knew they were genuine. I was greeted by a lady who seemed to rush me into the childrens section although I was looking. Whilst looking at the Doc Martens, the woman entered the room and treated me as if I was a 3 year old in a nursery. I looked at a pair of shoes that I love, not for my daughter for me. I said oh these are nice! But the woman serving me said well they are 99.00!. She made me feel so uncomfortable and treated me like she was better than me. Further more she told me and my daughter that she was a size five, however the day before she had been measured a size four. When she tried the size five on she looked as if she was wearing clown shoes. When I mentioned that the shoes were to big for her her reply was well if you have the size four I will put a note on your receipt to say that you have self fitted in a very sarcastic tone.Also she made my daughter feel uncomfortable by making her shuffle around and not even speaking to her. When leaving the shop I was very disappointed with my experience as I have been here before and it was a great store!
