Ive been to several pottery shops in stoke on Trent. Burleigh by far is my absolute favorite! The hours on the weekend are not the best for kids because most of the hands-on factory tour is only open during the week. However the factory outlet store is always opened and they have a play area for kids to draw. The prices are awesome and the extra sale section is always stocked with all sorts of treasures.Ive gone back several times to keep adding to my dining set. I have a full set now I cant spend another dime. Lol. The caf is nice as well offering sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
Beautiful as ever I wanted to buy some mugs made for Crabtree and Evelyn that I had seen on my last visit and I saw some beautiful napkins decorated with pumpkins also Pumpkin biscuits for my grandchildren Burleigh home of beautiful pottery and so much more.
Their products are defective and not fit for purpose. I ordered a cake stand from them and its not wobbly and cant hold any weight. Their customer service doesnt respond for weeks and refuse to issue refund. Dont shop there!
They have put on the poppy display make the local residents get a parking pass so they can park outside their own home and in Yale street it is ok for the workers to park anywhere they want with no parking pass it's a joke
A nice place to visit! The prices for the pottery is very reasonable and the exhibition was interesting. Nice mix of reading boards, watching short movies and touching items. Well done! Also loved the extra wood craft store. It had such amazing pieces! Everyone around was very friendly and helpful! Also watch out for workshops and extra kids activities.
