Not too long to wait for treatment. X-rays done on site, though they are unable to do certain x-rays. Disabled access and disabled parking is free if displaying a Blue Badge. Reasonable parking charges for normal parking. Cafeteria in the outpatients department and lifts to the restaurant which has a good variety of food - sandwiches or hot food.
Wish I could give them 0. After waiting for 2 hour patiently with my ill daughter I finally went to enquire no such longer. Next the receptionist said. Ok 3 more people later ask again told it depends on the circumstances. Ok the circumstances are I've sat for 2 and a half hours with a 1yr old baby who is burning up amongst other symptoms. When does she qualify to be seen? When she starts to fit in the waiting room? Very poor organisation of patients very very poor
Useless went tonight at 9.11 to be rudely turned out by a security guard, as I entered the building. He walked towards me saying where are you going ? To a&e. ITS CLOSEF. pardon it's open till 9.30 it's 9.11 ,it's CLOSED using his body to block me entering. Well there's people in there, he was quite rude WE ARE CLOSED reception as closed there is a 4hour wAit so people won't be seen before 9.30. ,Then as I tried to see if there were a lot in he CALLED FOR ANOTHER SECURITY GUARD,who was very pleasant saying that whilst he understood my frustration that due to the amount of people waiting the hospital as been closed early.Whilst I understand the explanation,this is the second time of trying to use here as a walk in I have been met with the same guard who turned me out .What a farce of opening and closing times!!!!
Brilliant NHS service today there. Thank you. Had to stitch my daughters face and did a great neat job. Staff all were lovely
My father is at present on the Jack Field Ward. He is being treated with kindness and consideration. The nurses work incredibly hard to help my father and all the patients. I am incredibly indebted to them as I know he is being well cared for in this hospital.
