Lovely place despite treading in dog doo!
Been to Bathpool many a time!! It has two entrances: one in Kidsgrove via Acres Nook and the other off Talke roundabout on the Tunstall turn off. Parking is normally fine and decent tarmac. There Woodland walking, a small pool with a beach and a large pool for fishing, a large field and a play ground! Dogs can be semi-off the lead and there plenty of dog bins and litter bins. Worth a visit.

A good place for some fresh air and exercise. There is even some gym equipment along part of the path. Car parking is available at either end of the park and is free. There are no toilets or cafe, not even an ice cream van.
Fantastic park to stroll around as most of the paths are tarmac surfaced. Fairly easy wheelchair access from all park entry points. Unfortunately there are no public conveniences nor is there a refreshments booth. The park is well maintained and dog walkers are encouraged to keep their pets on a leash. There are doggy bins too! Plenty of benches and picnic tables are situated throughout the park. A Ski club operates the dry ski slope within the park. Trains trundle past on the adjacent railway. Quite often anglers may be spotted sporting for a catch out of the pool.
