Good value. Room clean and tidy. Shower good. Quiet night's sleep. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. All in all a good place to stay.
The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful and there was a complimentary breakfast. The only issue we found was the air conditioning! We couldn't get ours to function at the desired temperature however the beds were comfortable and clean, there were many comforts that were available for example you could request toothbrushes, razors, more tea and things of the like. I enjoyed my stay.
My room's heating was broken so they got me an electric heater and the engineers were there to repair it the morning after. Nice and helpful staff. The breakfast was a bit poor
Brilliant location, very cheap, really helpful & friendly staff.Nice comfortable beds, reasonable sized rooms, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, floor to ceiling mirror, flat screen TV, several type G UK sockets, heating & AC control in room.Theres a small bar too & at the time of writing it was 4.70 a pint of Stella.Ample free parking, free WiFi and next to Stoke bet 365 stadium and only 12 miles from Alton Towers.
fantastic price for a very nice room and a great breakfast included.only disadvantage is the room walls are paper thin and we could hear the person next to us all evening, night and morning as if he was sharing a room with us :-D (a door was separating our rooms, that didn't help..)*we also had no working air conditioning (was only blowing cold air despite changing temp) and so had a very cold night.. only just found out they have heaters when we told the person at the desk. but room number was never taken to sort out the problem for the next guests.(room 222)
