It was ok. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was decent. It was in a good location too. But there was a crack in the window and the door of the wardrobe was very old, when I opened it it felt like it was going to fall off. The toilet had a very bad smell which made the room stink. You do get what you paid for though, as it was a cheap price.
Lovely place with loads of history. For the price I was expecting a lot less. Was so pleased with the facilities. Central to the city and great staff on the desk.
Excellent location. Within walkable distance of Staffordshire university. Helpful staff.Budget hotel. Just right for a few days of stay to meet up with my son studying at the uni.
Very dated hotel. Decor really needs an update. Bedrooms on the 3rd floor are lacklustre and no proper window. The heating in January only comes on first thing in the morning. I sat with my coat on in the evening!! Breakfast though was good. The overall cleanliness was good.
