Lovely campsite. Very clean and friendly staff. Great location for visiting Alton towers, which we did and had a fantastic weekend for our son's birthday. Will definitely recommend a visit and we are really looking forward to coming back again.

had the pleasure of staying at this camp for two days over the weekend with my wife and two friends. Apart from the weather, everything was perfect. once we checked in we were escorted to our pitch by a warden. didn't get his name but he was chatty, friendly and explained where everything was located ( toilets,showers and the nearest pub lol ). the site was very clean and the shower room was spot on. we will definitely be returning.

Simple but well thought and laid out site. Family bathroom and showers and multiple toilet blocks. Close facilities of water even on basic grass camping field. Large field for children to play in, also big separate field for dogs to go with locked gate. Wonderful staff. Happily visit again. Ideal if visiting Alton Towers and surrounding areas of beauty. Thank you Alton, The star camping and caravanning club site.

Pleasant campsite, very well maintained. We went at a fairly busy time unfortunately and it felt a bit claustrophobic. However many left on Sunday so we had a couple of quiet days.Staff friendly and helpful.Toilets and showers clean.It could really benefit from a little shop to buy essentials.Nice pub just down the road.
