It's a nice campsite, with necesseties such as toilets and bins. It's a shame that you had to pay extra for a campfire place. We were meant to stay two nights, but unfortunately due to the weather we could only stay one and we couldn't get a refund. If you haven't got a car, there is not a lot around that you could do.
Lovely campsite with lots of room for children to play. There are also fire pits, wood. Supplied at an additional cost. Will definitely stay again
Great site, handy for Alton Towers.Very tidy, good ground for tents, mainly level. Good clean toilets and showers with new ones on the way.Very helpful and friendly owner, pub nearby. What more can you ask for?Bell tents available to hire if you fancy Glamping!! Very reasonably priced.
Very nice campsite, nice and easy, nice and relaxed, kind staff, nice soft grass. Nice area to explore. Cheap and toliets were nice and clean. Showers were the only thing that let this place down, was literally a drizzle of water, but overall, fine on a hot summers day for the night. Can't really complain for the 10 it cost me.
What a lovely campsite and what great owners! It's the intangibles you can't find in the specs that really make a great holiday, and this was a great holiday. So incredibly attentive and helpful. Great balance of proper camping and facilities. Straightforward, clean and well laid out. Came home with a clear head and a big smile. Very beautiful surroundings, sensible and adequate facilities (new showers on the way but the old ones work well). For those that like a warm welcome and great community it's perfect.
