Original inside with wall panels being original. Good price bar inside. Toilets very clean. The caravan park is very good. Needs some more restoration inside. Overall a nice place to go.
Lovely spot for exploring the Staffordshire Moorlands, well maintained and thouggt out site with the old hall as backdrop. A gem!!
Fabulous location.360 degree views of the Staffordshire Countryside.Close to Cheadle town for supplies. Close to Alton towers, and Oakamoor and other Staffordshire Attractions. Friendly staff.Lovely clean site.Highly recommended.
Site was nice, friendly and well positioned. I just have a little constructive criticism and that is about the showers, in the ladies there are three showers which seemed enough however each one had the push button operation. I used all three, two lasted no more than about 3 seconds each time and the other a little longer. One shower was running cold, another too hot and the third one needed a good clean so that the water sprayed down and not in 10 different directions. A shelf or something similar would have been useful in the showers. Perhaps the owners could try using them to see how they would get on? Other than that I have given the site 4 stars.
Lovely campsite. Means nothing if they don't enforce site rules of no noise after 11pm. 1.30am the music stopped playing at a caravan! never in 20 years of camping have I experienced that! Stag/hen DO's spot on. family camping keep looking
